The best lipsticks

Hi, guys. I wanted to start my "hub" experience with a cute little article about lipsticks. I had so many "failures" in this area that I feel I must protect others from the horror. I've decided to make a list of the best lipsticks that I had tried from the less expensive to the most expensive with all the cons and pros of each. Let's start!

1 NYX Needless to say, these lipsticks are super-inexpensive. The quality is average but for the price it's worth it because you can find specific colors in the range that are very nice. The texture is soft, the smell is not too strong and the taste is bearable. The colors I would recommend are: Tea Rose, Summer Love, Power ( THE BEST!) for mauve-pinks and Snow Withe and Electra for reds ( they are not great but for the price they are good). Not recommended: Louisiana ( too strong), Paris ( too pink), Circe ( too brown).

2.M.A.C. My love!! The best lipsticks for the best price. I love their make-up. I Know that many people worship MAC and that it gets a little boring but maybe they do so for a reason. The lipsticks smell like vanilla and they're delicious. The texture depends on the type of lipstick, or better said, the finish: Amplified, Amplified Cream, Cremesheen, Dazzle, Frost, Glaze, Lustre, Matte, Satin. I like the satin and glaze finishes the most. The "cream" ones melt quick, the frost and dazzle are kind of glittery/metallic and the amplified is not pleasingly/ way too pigmented for my taste. The matte....is just matte, you know? If you want your lipstick to last long then you should try some matte colors you find appealing ( the reds are gorgeous) . Another trick is to "glue your lipstick" with a special product designed for this purpose, you can search Google for details. I had one that looked like a lacquer and it was a little bitter but I forgot the name of it. It worked great though. Now let's go to the recommendations part: The best MAC pink lipstick is without a shadow of a doubt, ANGEL. It is THE lipstick. Other amazing pinks: Creme Cup ( cremesheen), Snob ( satin) Modesty ( a gorgeous muted neutral pink, cremsheen). The best Mac nude lipstick is Creme d'Nude. All of them are great but I think Creme d'Nude outclass them . It's a creemsheen finish so it's melty but the color is beautiful Other nudes: Myth ( satin), Blankety ( amplified creme), Hug me ( Lustre). Best reds: Russian Red ( the best red lipstick on the market, matte), Ruby Woo ( matte, blue undertone) I don't have any MAC lipsticks I would not recommend. Most of them do not last long, so this is a - but they are still worth it.

3. Shiseido. These lipsticks are on the expensive side. Their quality is very high. It's a range that doesn't really have " bad colors". They can all work if you try. They are super wearable. My favorites are: P22 ( nude), P21 ( nude), P13 ( cool red). You should try more colors if you find the chance. If you risk and buy them on line go with these ones, they're amazing. The texture of the lipsticks is creamy, the smell is not overpowering and they are longer lasting than the MAC ones.

4. YSL I love YSL lipsticks. I have to say that their most beautiful lipstick is from Rouge Pure line and it's called Tea Rose ( No. 148, color nude champagne pinkish, stunning). Their coolest lipstick line though is Rouge Volupte. I love the exterior of the RV lipstick, they seem very precious and royal. Their are super pigmented but the texture is okay (a little bit undefinable...I guess it is "silky" and "foamy"). I can't wear them during the day but some might. My favorite colors: #1 Nude Beige ( pink nude), # 2 Silky Sensual ( light coral pink), # 17 Red Muse ( cool red) , #26 Tender Peach ( peachy nude). There is nothing I would not recommend in this line. I like just a few colors but I'm certain you can find more.

My final tip and maybe the most important is: Buy products from trusted retailers. The fakes don't have the same quality as the original. Not by far. Good luck.
